The Secret Society of Rebel Readers
This is not about finishing a book.
It’s about exploring ideas, stories, and who you are becoming.
The Secret Society of Rebel Readers is a gathering space for Rebels who are curious, thoughtful, and ready to engage with stories in a way that feels natural, not forced.
Each gathering features a book, but participation is never dependent on reading it.
Because this isn’t about keeping up.
It’s about showing up.
What Happens in a Gathering
Each gathering is intentionally designed to feel welcoming, engaging, and meaningful.
Rebels will experience:
Guided Conversations- Thoughtful prompts that connect the story to real life
Perspective Exploration- Looking at characters, choices, and outcomes through different lenses
Creative Expression (Optional)- Low-pressure activities like sketching, storytelling, or idea mapping
Connection Time- Space to talk, laugh, and be part of something
This is structured- but never rigid.
Facilitated- but never forced.
What We Actually Do
We come together to explore stories, not just read them.
Each session includes Story-Based Conversations.
We talk about:
Characters and their choices
Moments that stood out
What felt real, confusing, or important
Big Questions (Without Right Answers)
We explore ideas like:
Why did that character make that decision?
What would you have done differently?
Who was misunderstood, and why?
Designed for Real Rebels
This space is intentionally built for:
Rebels who don’t finish books
Rebels who think deeply but speak quietly
Rebels who prefer conversation over structure
Rebels who need freedom in how they participate
There is no “falling behind” here.
Why We Feature a Book Rather than Read it Together
The book is not a requirement.
It’s the anchor.
It gives us:
A shared starting point
Characters to explore
Stories to question
But the real experience comes from the conversation, not the completion
Is Your Next Rebel Read Here?
Start a Chapter of the Secret Society of Rebel Readers as a Society Steward—a guide who creates space for Rebels to gather, explore stories, and find their voice together.
We provide the framework and support; you bring the experience to life in your community.
As a Society Steward, you are not teaching—you are guiding.
You create a space where Rebels feel safe to think, speak, question, and belong.
With the Rebel Voices framework behind you, you’ll facilitate experiences that are structured, flexible, and deeply meaningful.
